Purposeful development. Positive culture.

New 11U baseball team forming for the 2027 season in South St. Louis County.

The goal is to build fundamentally sound baseball players who understand the game, compete with confidence, and continue to love playing it years from now. Every player deserves the opportunity to improve, contribute, and learn multiple aspects of the game. We value effort, preparation, sportsmanship, and being a dependable teammate just as much as batting average or ERA.

No player will be permanently limited to one position simply because it is the easiest place to play them.

We believe players should have opportunities to enjoy family vacations, other sports, and simply being kids.

Practices are planned with purpose. Games are played to compete.

Building a successful baseball program takes everyone.

It isn’t “come play for us because we win.” It’s “come play for us because your son will become a better baseball player while still getting to enjoy being 10 and 11 years old.”

About Me

Alex Turley

Coach

I am a father to 3 children. My son Nicholas plays baseball at the 11U level in 2027. I served as an assistant coach this past season at an academy team my son played for. Select baseball was a learning experience for both my son and I. My son was looking for something that lands between house league and the more demanding select level baseball and that led me to form this team after seeing that need from others in the community. I played baseball as a child and have always been a fan of the game. I do not have collegiate or professional playing experience - I am just a dad who will gladly volunteer his time for his kid’s interests. I served for 22 years in the United States Army and live in the South County area where I work in multimedia now. My hobbies include packrafting, rock climbing and exploring the Ozarks with my family. Here is a photo of Nicholas and I packrafting an Ozark stream.
